My family bought this watch for our dad in 2006. He has enjoyed it since until his band broke. I was able to find a replacement band on watchbands.com. I found it under Seiko-Collections-Coutura. Maybe this will help if anyone is having the same issue.

Seiko is a classic in our family. We appreciate the quality and stick to it for generations. And when we buy one we like to use it for decades. I was pretty happy with this watch, until the rubber band is cracked due to fatigue. And it happened really quickly, like a year. Now I am searching for the band but it is not sold anywhere. Now do I have to throw away the watch and buy a new one? I would probably never buy a rubber band again. Consider twice.

i purchased this watch for a dive trip as i don't like wearing my expensive watch when i travel in south america....this watch is a quality time piece....stainless steel and good to 200m it is indestructible and the joke is i got more complements about it then my usual watch.....high quality watch and a steal at this price....only one thing is it will set the metal detector off at the airport because it is stainless steel....
