The pearl face shows different colors when it moves in the light. Some descriptions of this watch I found on line said that the gold was rose gold so I was afraid it would be too "rosey" in color but it's not. It's not a harsh gold color either...just right. I already own another Citizen watch that is eco drive so I know I will love that feature. I'm looking forward to having the glow in the dark hands and the date feature. The size of the watch is also a good feature. It's not too small or too big so it will work well as an every day watch that can be dressed up or down. You won't be disappointed in this watch. The Eco drive function is a wonderful idea since I switch out my watches frequently and no longer have to be concerned with dead batteries. It takes a few days for the luminescence on the hands/hours to fully charge but I didn't intentionally sit in the sun to charge the watch. It works beautifully as a timepiece. It is comfortable to wear, not too heavy or clunky, and very secure on the wrist. The two tone detailing is subtle on the band and a nice contrast from the face of the watch. The dial is just beautiful. I feel the date is a little difficult to read at some angles, it is a bit small but still attractive to the overall design of the piece. I am very pleased with this watch and the prompt service. Thank you.
