Like all of their watches that use the Eco Drive technology, this watch keeps perfect time. The date is large enough that I can read it easily, and the date is printed in black, on a white background, so that helps too. It's a very clean looking watch, unlike my other more complex Citizen's. The power saving mode freaked me out at first, as I thought that it wasn't charged up, but after some quick research on the Net, I learned that it is working as it should. This is a 200M water resistant watch; while I have no intentions of going any deeper than 15 or 20 feet with this on my wrist, I prefer a watch with a 200 or 300M rating as I feel that speaks to its construction.
