Top notch quality. Eco drive technology is great, no batteries. Most of our watches stopped working after changing batteries.Great 5 year warranty. The dial is glass - not cheap plastic, 2-tone makes it a great watch be it a casual or formal occasion. Amazing how they can fit a day, date on this dial. The 25mm measurement of the dial is actually incorrect. It measures 25mm from the two strap ends - ie the longer, vertical measures 25mm. It is actually a smaller dial (18-22mm), much nicer on the wrist. This watch is much prettier in person than the picture on Amazon; the face is just the right size and is easy to read; the time and date are very easy to set; and the expandable band, for me, makes it perfect (I do not like bracelet clasp watch bands); and the best part is that I will never have to replace watch batteries again! As a bonus, in very dim light (or in the dark), the watch hands and tips of the numbers glow just enough that you can easily see the time. Amazon knows how to treat its customers. I am a big person, but when the watch was received, the expansion band was too big - that has never happened. I took it to two jewelers who replied "I've never seen that kind of a band" Finally found a jeweler who would do it. He would not charge me anything - I know why - two days later the decorative facing fell off. I was able to use Epoxy to secure it back and it is still there.There was an article on Citizens website on how to shorten expansion bands - no way would it work on this one. They also say the watch will not stop if left for a normal time. One night I left it while I was sleeping - the next day it was stopped. Got it started and it has been o.k. I do like the look, like the face and calendar (easy to read) - but as you can see, it wasn't easy getting there. |
