The watch fills the bill quite nicely. The diameter of this watch is on the large side as compared to most dress watches ... and I like that. I think the size gives this conservative watch more of a contemporary look. The dial is simple yet quite attractive. Date is easy to read.In the photos posted on Amazon, the minute and hour hands appear to be an aqua or light turquoise color. Actually, under typical lighting conditions, the hands are of an ivory color. Again, very attractive in my opinion. The watch's perpetual calendar was set correctly upon arrival, so for me, there was no setup involved. The watch runs great. I've had no problems with it. I own several watches and especially like the solar models. I've always like Citizen Eco-Drives and this looked like a perfect choice. Watch looks as pictured, except the hands are white - not luminous green - as commented above.One large reservation: This watch is annoyingly complicated to set. I work in the technology industry, so I'm used to working through technical manuals. The manual was not well translated. Simple functions like adjusting time with the stem are accomplished via clicking back and forth, with the hands leaping into fast mode unpredictably. Setting the perpetual date is quite cryptic. You have to set the month and year by pointing the hands to various places. And the year is only which of the 4 years in a leap cycle you're in. All of this seemed annoying, but acceptable, since I would only be doing this once, and the perpetual calendar would take over.
