The primary cause for concern was the practical likelihood of receiveing a quality mechanical product for such a low price. Having relied on many prior reviews of similar products by Orient, my impression was that the product I would receive was from a company that had a reliable reputation but it's lower end watches had a fluctuating and unpredictable range of functionality - from working perfectly, to not working at all, to anywhere in between.I chose this model because it appeared simple, easy to read, and contained a full day and date display. I perceived the cyclops to have been an extra touch of elegance. Size: The watch face, including the bezel and casing, is hardly larger than a quarter. This is not a "wrist-clock" by any means. I have to say without fools - ORIENT creates maybe most affordable timekeeping masterpieces on the market. I do like this company even more than SEIKO. I have this model and two more. And I am going to buy Orient Star with white dial and some more with accuracy about +-5/7 seconds a day.By the way this model goes within plus 7-10 seconds a day and that means much better than SEIKO 5 I do recommend this model for those who like not to notice the weight of watch while wearing.....
