This is a fantastic value. A solar watch with a leather band. It works great. I've had mine for about a year now, and it hasn't skipped a beat. This isn't a casual watch. It is an understated tasteful watch that looks impeccably appropriate with a black, grey, or blue suit. If you ever find yourself in that sort of attire, go for it.Compared to other solar watches, the case isn't at all bulky. Day and date are easy to read. The leather band could be nicer (thicker and softer), but again, what the heck do you expect for $100 bucks? Buy the watch, wear it when it matches your more formal clothing, and wear another watch when you are wearing something different. But it was not as pictured, or described. The watch face which looks like a nice dark blue on the picture, actually turned out to be a grey blue, almost purplish. Not attractive at all to me. Also the description says deployment clasp with push button. That is not what comes on this watch, which would have been great, instead it's just a buckle. Yes, the day function is in english and spanish, you just need to turn the handle one way to set date, and the other way to set day. Once you set it in one language it stays in that language. |
