When I screwed the crown in after setting, the watch stopped running. I ended up leaving the crown unscrewed to keep it running, until that eventually didn't work either. Sent it in for warranty repair after 5 months of stopped watch syndrome. On return, I found that they didn't charge me anything for replacing the movement and adjusting the stem. They treated me right on the warranty repair, but the watch did have to be repaired under warranty. Cool things about the watch: the crystal has some kind of specially treated crystal material that changes color under different light. Five star rating, reduced to four star for warranty repair. The watch looks pretty nice, and I had another momentum watch I liked very much. This one, unfortunately, had the bad habit of its crown unscrewing. I would crank it down as tight as my fingers could get it, and low and behold, a few days later I would notice it had come completely unscrewed again. I should have warrantied it at this point, but I didn't get around to and of course it eventually ended up in the shower with an open crown. The watch came with a big warning card instructing me to "check the crown every time the watch gets wet", which makes me wonder if this might be a common problem. I don't think I should have to check my waterproof watch every time it gets wet. The stupid thing should just be waterproof.
