Eco-Drive solar power will run the watch for up to 12 months without a charge. Give it a little light, and it takes care of itself. The watch is water resistant to 100m (about 330 feet) but as a dress watch keep the leather band out of the water as leather and water don't mix. Luminous hand and dot markers. 6 o'clock second hand and 9 o'clock 24 hour dial. The 24 hour dial is not a second time zone but more of an am / pm indicator. The only place they skimped is the anti-reflective crystal. Its made of mineral glass instead of a more expensive sapphire crystal. Clean cut and polished all stainless case. Fine leather strap with a machined stainless deployment clasp. This is a grab and go dress watch with zero maintenance... The new Eco-Drive Calibre 3100 Perpetual Calendar series is one of the classiest designs to come out in many years.
