For the most part, I have avoided chronographs because most are difficult to read easily at a glance. Many designs also seem to cut into portions of the arabic or roman numeral minute markers on the dials to make room for the sub-dials. I find this practice to be short sighted and unacceptable. Many chronograph dials seem to blend with the markers and hands, further adding confusion to the displays and readability problems. Regardless of extra features, one should be able to read the time on a watch at a glance, without sorting through the clutter.Then I ran across this model and I was instantly converted. Now that I have worn it, I find it to be one of my favorites. The case is rock solid, heavy-duty stainless steel. It is 42 MM in diameter and has a deep profile for a masculine appearance. However, the 'luminous' hands cannot be seen at night because of the chrono dials; the dial is hard to read in bright sunlight; the alarm is so weak that it can only be heard if one is already awake; worst of all the crown keeps slipping when worn on the wrist, thereby changing the function mode from local time to another function altogether.
