This watch goes great with a suit but can be worn everyday. I am never gentle with anything I own and have broken other watches very easily. This watch has survived a lot and is in great condition. I have smaller sized wrists and this watch is a perfect size. Unfortunately, as I enter my forties, I have found the face of the women's watch harder to read. I looked at lots of women's watches made by Citizen but all of the faces were really not large enough for me to comfortably read without squinting and the date window was ALWAYS impossible to read. I finally tried this particular model. I liked the black face and design of the face was modern looking and not too "manly." It also is not very heavy and the profile is slim to my wrist so it doesn't catch on my clothes. I did have my local jeweler take out about four links and it's perfect (it moves a little on my wrist like a bracelet). I am petite at only 5' 2" and I think the watch fits me perfectly. I've had it a few weeks and haven't had a scratch on it yet. GREAT WATCH! What is masculine to you? This watch does not scream "LOOK AT ME!", but it has great function and elegant, minimalist style. It is super comfortable; the lugs are curved to the level of the case back and it has a small diameter for a man's watch. The beveled case and thin profile lets your cuffs slip right over. If you wear an extra long band you may have to replace the bracelet. With my genetics, physical training, and history of physical labor I could not fit the original band so I got a 16mm leather strap for mine. Just use a pin tool remove the pins from the lugs, and replace with spring bars and any 16 mm strap. (BTW if anybody has linksfor this bracelet to sell (low cost please) please post a comment and I'll post a comment with my e-mail in it)To me, real style is functional, simple, and clean, not elaborate.
